Two meeting points; Altona Pier (09.00) or Newport Station (Halls St exit at 09.35). We cycle past Science Works and Yarraville Gardens to join the west bank of the Maribyrnong. We follow the River north, crossing it at the Afton Bridge and back-track passing Poyntons Nursery. We keep mainly on the east bank taking us to Footscray Station, lunching at the Milking Station, before returning to Newport Station and Altona Pier.Distance: 43 or 27 kms Graded: EASY
