The 6 April Werribee Loop ride had to be changed to the Coburg Lake Ride. The details are as follows:
From Hall St we will take the punt, to join the Light Rail route to South Bank. From Docklands we’ll follow the Moonee Ponds Crk, Upfield Shared Trl and Merri Crk Trl (lunching at CERES) to Coburg Lake. We will backtrack to Moonee Ponds Crk and take Dynon Rd, returning via Yarraville Gdns and Hyde St to Newport.
Graded: EASY Distance: 54 kms
The best laid plans of mice and men…….. Regrettably, the Run for the Kids event closes the area around Docklands. The revised ride will take us along Dynon Road in each direction reducing the length of the ride by a few kms. We will NOT be taking the Punt. We will eat at Pentridge Prison.
