From Newport Station (Hall St) we will take the punt ($5.00), to join the Light Rail route to South Bank. From Docklands we’ll follow the Moonee Ponds Crk, Upfield Shared Trl and Merri Crk Trl to Coburg Lake (lunching at Pentridge Prison (former)). We will backtrack to Moonee Ponds Crk and take Dynon Rd, returning via Yarraville Gardens and Hyde St to Newport.
