Pelicans Group is a sister group that rides on Tuesday each week. Many of our members also ride with this group. Their upcoming rides are as follows:

Rides for Jan/Feb 2019

Meet at Altona Pier at 10.00am  (Heinz’s ride)

 

Ride to Sanctuary Lakes continuing onto Saltwater Promenade Café for coffee.

After coffee, continue to Homestead Road towards Atlantis Drive.  Follow this to Feather Way which runs into Hacketts Road.  Pick up Dunnings Road and head to Point Cook Town Centre for lunch.

After lunch, ride towards Skeleton Creek linking up with Palmers Road.

 EARLY START – TAKING THE PUNT –  $2.70

Meet at Altona Pier:     Riders leave Pier at 8.15am SHARP.

We’re taking the shortcut to Newport to pick up the last trip across the river.

Ride along Port Melbourne Beach where we will stop for our Morning Coffee break.

Continue along the Beach road to Sandringham for lunch.

Train or ride home.

Meet at Altona Pier at 10.00am.

Ride Federation Trail to Glengala.

Take Millers Road and Chambers Road to Federation Trail.

Turn off to Glengala Trail (Morning coffee at Geelong Road Workers Café)

Lunch at Glengala.

Ride on to meet Ballarat Road, turn and ride loop back to Federation Trail and back home.

Meet at Flinders Street Railway Station at 10.00am.

 

Follow trail along the Yarra to Ashburton, stopping for coffee (rear of High Street).

Continue across Monash Freeway overpass to Scotchman’s Creek.  Follow this trail to Glen Waverley.

Lunch in Glen Waverley.   Train back to City.

Meet at Hoppers Crossing Railway Station at 10.00am.

Steve’s Trail.

After meeting up, ride Federation Trail to New Found Coffee Spot.  Continue the ride under the sewerage bridge to Tarneit. Complete the loop and ride back to Werribee township for lunch. Train or ride home.Ride on to meet Ballarat Road, turn and ride loop back to Federation Trail and back home.

Meet at Flinders Street Railway Station at 10.00am.

 

Magnum Trail (weather permitting) this ride can be shortened 

Ride via Southbank (select a coffee shop on way) to Port Melbourne, St.Kilda, Brighton on to Mordialloc, stopping for Lunch in Sandringham. Train home from Mordialloc.
