Meet at 10:20 at Flinders Street Station Information kiosk. From Flinders St Stn we follow the Yarra passing rowing sheds & Herring Island before crossing it at MacRobertson Bridge; taking the Gardiners Crk Trl shortly afterwards. We pass the sportsfields of Malvern and Hawthorn followed by the parks of Glen Iris & East Malvern before leaving the Creek to take the Anniversary Trl to Ashburton. [Lunch at Miss Ash Cafe, Ashburton]. We return via the Ferndale Trl which rejoins the Gardiners Crk Trl and returns us to FSS. There are many opportunities for the train to take the strain, if necessary).
