“Pelican peddlers” are a Tuesday group of riders and many of our members ride with them as well. Their upcoming rides are:

7th February 2012.

Meet at Altona Pier @ 10:00 am (Short Ride).

Ride to Sanctuary Lakes via the trail crossing through the Wetlands to the new Bridge and continue on, crossing the newly constructed road-bridge, and loop around the other side of the lake which will bring us back to Waterstone Cafe for a Coffee on the west side of the lake, where we will make a decision as to where we will ride for lunch.

14th February 2012.

Meet @ Altona Pier @ 10:00am.

Ride trail to Williamstown via the trail and continue riding to the Westgate Bridge, turn left and cross railway line into Duncans Road for a stop for lunch or coffee @ Mies Coffee Bar Hudsons Road Spotswood ( Highly Recommended ) return home the way we came.

Meet @ Pier @ 10:00am.

Ride trail to Maddox Road take Short cut to Newport, Ride to past Science Works to Docklands for Morning Coffee, Follow trail to Port Melbourne Beach for Lunch, explore the Port Melbourne Peninsula, and train to home from Southern Cross railway station.

28th February 2012.

Meet @ Flinders Street Concourse 10:00am.

Take the 9:10 train from Altona ( change @ Newport) Ride south side of the Yarra River cross over at the McRobersons Bridge follow river to Burke Rd and follow the Gardiners Creek Trail, do one lap around the Velodrome, and continue to Ashburton After lunch we follow the loop starting at the Ashburton Station which will return us back the way we came back to Flinders Street ( voted One of our best rides).
