We will follow the BayWest trail through to Williamstown, Newport, and Yarraville and on to Seddon where we will stop for a late breakfast or an early lunch at Seddon Deadly Sins. We will reverse our trip back to Altona for a 40 km return trip.

Take the 9.26am train from Werribee, 9.36am from Laverton and 9.42am from Altona to Spotswood Station for a short ride to the punt. Once over the Yarra River, we will ride from Port Melbourne to Gardenvale via the Bay Trail and then follow the Elwood Canal. There is a short on road section here. We can stop at Gardenvale for morning tea, or maybe lunch before riding onto Brighton following the Nepean Hwy off road Bike Path and then a small section on road along Bay Street. Brighton can be an alternate lunch stop. Riders can leave the Ride at Gardenvale, Brighton or Middle Brighton Stations to return home, or continue riding back to the Westgate Punt at Port Melbourne and cross the Yarra River again for a train from Spotswood station. The full ride will be approximately 40kms.

We reverse the trip back to Altona. Ride will be approximately 30kms.

Catch the 9.38am train from Altona or 9.44am from Laverton. This ride will be approximately 20 kms.

The 8.46am train from Werribee, 8.56am from Laverton or the 9.02am train from Altona should see you there for a 9.30am start. A short ride on quiet back roads will get us to the Capitol City trail for our ride to Rushall when we pick up the Merri Creek trail to Ceres for your coffee and a bite to eat. Ride will be approximately 30 kms with the option to catch a train at Rushall station back home.

We will follow the Footscray Road path to Docklands and switch across to the Capitol City trail to Arden Street in North Melbourne. After a short ride along the bike lane, Belinda and Mary will find one of the trendy cafes for your morning coffee, cake or whatever you fancy. This ride should be approximately 40 kms. A return trip by train is an option if you do not wish to ride home.

Today we will meet at Altona pier and leave at 9.00am and follow the path west along the BayWest Trail to the old bridge over Skeleton Creek and cross over from Altona Meadows to Seabrook. Once over the bridge we will follow the trail along and then make our way to Point Cook Shopping Centre where we can pick up something for an early lunch. From here, we will follow the back streets the end of the Skeleton Creek trail where we will stop for our picnic. After lunch, we follow the Skeleton Creek Trail back to Altona. The round trip should be approx. 35kms.

Once on the other side, we will follow the path along the bay to St Kilda where we will turn around and ride back to Port Melbourne for lunch. After lunch, we will return to the punt to cross over the river again and ride back to Williamstown. Ride should be approximately 30 kms.
